The Equilibrium and Non-equilibrium properties of liquid dialkyl esters of adipic acid (DEAAs) were correlated and predicted through a perturbed hard-chain equation of state (PHC EoS) and a rough hard-sphere-chain (RHSC) model. PHC EoS comprised an attraction term of Yukawa tail. The molecular parameters appearing in the EoS were adjusted with the densities and isothermal compressibilities. The average absolute deviations (AAD) of densities and isothermal compressibilities were found to be 0.21% and 8.58%, respectively. The PHC EoS was capable of predicting the thermodynamic coefficients of the above-mentioned liquids with good accuracies when compared with a Tait-type equation cited in literature. Further, a combined PHC EoS+ RHSC model has been successfully employed to predict the viscosities of some selected liquid DEAAs. The proposed thermodynamic model was capable of predicting 1075 experimental data over 283-373 K range and pressures up to 65 MPa with the AAD of 2.14%. The accuracy of proposed PHC EoS+RHSC-based model has also been compared with other RHS-based models of literature.
